Accuracy of topographical instruments and Unmanned Aerial Systems for mapping and surveying environmental projects.

Abstract For the implementation of environmental technical projects, such as urban forest management, a key element is topographical and cartographic mapping area. Topographical instruments are based on digital, aerial or satellite information’s that can be used for producing maps. This research aims to highlight UAVs in combination with low-cost survey methods, produce accepted accuracy how we road network order digital topographic maps also four different ways measuring help us accomplish it. The methods executing projects differ quality, accuracy, time cost. results surveying total station, binary positioning system, handheld system an unmanned were compared results. Estimation measurement error combined by required cost each instrument associated software data processing estimated. obtained prove give sufficient acceptable accuracy; especially Unmanned Aerial Systems, capable being design urbanization studies.
